Cheap Economy Yellow Hi Vis Vest (non PPE not suitable for builders, roadworkers or anywhere en471 is required)
This economy yellow or orange hi vis vest is NOT EN ISO 20471 PPE compliant but is useful to make staff stand out if you don't need ENiso20471 cert. We would call it "OK" but not as good as our fully certified hi vis vest here.
It is fully yellow just like our other best selling hi vis vest here, but the material is a wider mesh style weave than our best seller and it will not last as long, and cannot be certified en20471 due to the "mesh" style.
The reason this economy cheap hi vis vest it is not classed as PPE is simply because the "weave" of the material is very loose, almost mesh like (see pics close ups) which means it does not stand out as bright yellow enough to pass en iso 20471 tests as our ones with a tighter weave and does not print logos as good, though the tape is still reflective and the background material is bright yellow etc.
Who is this cheap hi vis vest good for.
Playground staff, Maintenence staff, Factory line workers, assembly workers, in fact anyone who doesnt need ISO 20471 certified vests or doesnt work in or around moving machinery or vehicles, and potential dangerous situations.
This vest is not good for, Road workers or Sites where en iso 20471 is required, jobs where moving vehicles or machinery is present, or places where full day visibility is required. If in doubt go for our full cert hi vis vest here
This economy hi vis jacket is still washable like our standard 120gsm weight vest (this economy vest is 90gsm) and a useful cheap option great for festivals hi vis , general duties like hi vis jackets for maybe charity collectors or workers where they do not need en 471 certification but want to stand out . Also because the economy yellow hi vis vest is a wider weave (see pics) they are great for warm climates or hot jobs allowing you to stay cooler. Always make sure the vest you order is suitable for the job you are doing. If in any doubt please order and pay for one sample first.
This vest can be printed with your logo to the front or personalised with your logo to the rear. You can design it online using this online designer should you wish or you can just upload your logo using the boxes above and our in house designers will check and send proofs if needed.

Please note, due to the weave of this lightweight vest the logos can only be digitally (more expensive) printed and not screen printed. This is because screenprinting will allow the inks to "flood" through the open weave and can risk staining subsequent vests. Should you wish to have screenprinting for cost-effectiveness on large bulk quantities please choose our other vest here or give us a call, the print costs on this vest are higher than our standard best-selling vests for this reason.
