This means the modacrylic polymers or fibers the trousers are made from are flame retardant, and not that the garment is just coated with Flame retardant coating like proban etc. This gives far superior flame protection and longevity.
Features that allow these trousers to conform to these standards are things such as being from 60% modacrylic, 40% cotton with anti-static, 310gsm, heat, Fire resistant hi vis tape, two lower side patch pockets with velcro fastened pocket flaps, concealed jean button, bottom loading knee pad pockets, one rear patch pocket with velcro fastening, side seam hip pockets, 7 belt loops, triple stitching on the front rise, back rise, inside and outside leg.These Flame Retardant Trousers are anti static with hi vis reflective stripes on the legs come with many features making them ideal for working in hazardous working environments, on shore and off shore.
