Important artwork Info

It is important to read any proof info we send thoroughly as mistakes do happen. Once you are happy with all of the points listed just reply to our proof with a simple ok to proceed smiley

We hope by explaining some of the the potential pitfalls below will help us serve you better. * Please note once you have approved any proof, no compensation in respect of any of this approval can be met.
By APPROVING the proof you are approving the garments or product type and colour, logo style/colours and logo positions.

When will I get my things ? Just click here for our logo turn round time

Type of items ordered: When you originally placed your order, for things like embroidered clothing  or custom printed hi vis clothing our admin would have emailed a sales confirmation listing all products ordered and costings.( if you didn't get this check your junk or just ask us to send again).
Please check the garments on the proof correspond with exactly what you have ordered and are what you require as sometimes input errors can be made. If there are any errors this is your final check to let us know.

Logo size: The image you see on your emailed proof is only a visual, the position is not exact to scale as it is textile printing which allows for tolerances, please see dimensions in mm below for actual logo dimensions.

Logo position: We will try our best to be exact with logo positions but printing garments have more variations than just printing paper. I.E  padded items, garment size tolerances from manufacturers, operator accuracy, different styles of garment etc. Tolerance is up to 20% (see below)

Pantone's: We can match to many pantone references, but again not all can be achieved in textile printing, but if critical, send us your numbers and we will let you know if ok. You may have a pantone reference for a certain colour but that colour may not cross reference to textile printing.
To explain it all here would take many pages but a quick search of google to see how colours and pantones can not be an exact science may help. The only sure way is if your colour is critical then you send us the printed garment and we will make sure it is a near as can be match before we print the whole job. In this instance especially on luminous garments, you may send us one pantone reference but we may need to print a close neighbour to that reference to achieve the colour on the actual garment you may have had printed before by another company.
This could be for various reasons including because the previous comany had actually printed the wrong colour in the first place, or the pantone will not work on a particular colour substrate, as it affects the final outcome, therefore if you send us pantones and we print those numbers, they may be slightly off, and we cannot be held responsible.

Type of print: We produce over 40,000 prints per month across various types of print methods such as screen printing, digital and embroidery. We use different methods dependent on production needs, quantity of garments, garment type etc. Please check the print style we have indicated on your proof and acknowledge if you require a different print. *please note, even though you may have had one style of print previously, does not mean the same method can be used each time on further orders. If you require the exact same print process as previous please let us know the previous reference number state "same print required". As long as the garments are of the same quantity and style this shouldn't be a problem.

Customer own supplied garments
* Please note our garments are specifically chosen to compliment the logo process, due to the vast amount of garments on the retail market we do not guarantee any of our print methods on customers own supplied garments.

Supplied logos: If you have supplied your own digital artwork file, such as eps, pdf etc, this may render differently when opened on our machines. Please check the quality of all your artwork, check the font has interpreted correctly from you to us, or if anything is missing from your original. We may also need to modify or redraw your artwork to be able to achieve the best possible print.

One off Samples:  If the proof is a "one off" sample for a future order, please let us know as different types of print methods are used for different quantities of garments for the best value.

E.G if you need 1000 tee shirts printing then the cheapest method to print these is usually screen printing. But the issue with this is we have to set up and charge for an actual silk screen and run just one shirt which is very costly as our machines can print up to 400 per hour, £55.00 and up is common, versus around £5.00 for a digital one, so digital printing is usually the way forward for one off samples.
The only difference is the "feel" of the print will be different as one offs are cut from vinyl and not inked transferred through a developed silk screen. We can run a "one off" screenprinted sample but get in touch with us for the best way.
If for future orders you require the same print method as previous please make sure when you place the full order that you quote the reference number from the original order stating you would like the same print method to ensure you get the same print. *minimum order quantities apply to screen printing.

Despatch Dates: all despatch dates are a guide only and although very rarely do we go over these they are not guaranteed unless you have chosen our express logo service options.

As printing textiles is different than printing say our signs or paper products we have outlined below what is considered acceptable below. Although the items below show printing the same tolerances apply to embroidery decoration.

See below for differences even in print positions by famous names. You can see below slight differences in position aswell as alignment, with one in particular being quite a way out which we would not expect or allow on our logo standards.
