Ensure ultimate head protection and security with the JSP Elasticated Chinstrap, designed for easy and secure attachment to a wide range of JSP safety helmets and bump caps. This chinstrap, measuring 85mm in width and 38mm in height with an approximate weight of just 35g, provides a comfortable and reliable fit. Engineered for safety, this wide elastic chinstrap meets EN397 requirements when fitted to JSP Industrial Safety Helmets and EN812 requirements when used with Bourton, Top Cap, and Hardcap Aerolite bump caps. Crucially, it features an automatic release mechanism that activates with forces between 150 and 250 Newtons, preventing snagging hazards while maintaining essential headwear stability.
How to install:
Installation is straightforward: simply insert the clip upstand through the chinstrap attachment points on the helmet shell, ensuring it points away from the head, then fold and close the clip around the attachment points, pushing the upstand through the corresponding hole until it fully shuts. Once your head protection device is fitted, comfortably secure the chinstrap under your chin.
