Using the new UV technology, we can add custom logos to safety helmets personalised and branded with your logo onto our hard hats with quantities as little as 20 helmets and printed fast in as little as same day or 2 days, using our UV Ink raised embossed method. This is less than the usual 80 qty or more required for the old standard pad print method.

So why choose custom logo safety helmets with UV print method rather than water based ink ?.
There a few reasons, 1 is cost, historically, custom pad printing helmets or hats which requires a screen to be made and then set up takes a long time, so all this has to be accounted for in cost and time, so there has always been a minimum quantity from most manufacturers of 80 helmets, plus also a screen origination charge.
2: is longevity, these are far more durable won't scratch off as easy as thin inks, and actually get stronger in the sun (UV) 
3: is no setup charge if good quality images are provided
4: Speed of delivery, these can be ordered and delivered in as little as 24 hours, and not the usual 2-3 weeks.

What can we print on our custom safety helmets ? Pretty much any logo in any colours and in any position, *see pantone info below, there are still some print restrictions on the really small text like objects in logos the same way as there has always been , but in general 95% of logos print perfect without any adjustments and can print text down to around 3 - 4mm without worry. All of our hard hats can be custom printed this way, even our most basic economy safety helmets here.

UV print method does away with the minimum 80 custom printed safety helmets and the screen origination, and we can print as low as 20 helmets, in fact we could even print just one but the cost would be expensive, so we find 20 is a good number but by all means call us if you require less.

Printing the safety helmets this way also gives a durable UV print that gets stronger over time, they don't peel, are durable regards scratches in the same way, probably even more so than the old pad print method, and have a durable raised glossy laminate giving an almost 3D type appearance to the logo if required for that extra "pop". This overlay can be left off, but after feedback from all of our customers we have decided to include is as standard.

What type of logo format do we need for the personalised helmets ?, Ideally we would like a good quality jpg or png file for speed, but we can work with any file type as long as the image is at leats 200 dpi and looks good on your screen when made large to fit the screen.

Can we print safety helmets logos to pantone references ? Yes we can, but the logo you send us will be the final output colour of our machines. Remember all monitiors and printers can display colours differently and must not be relied upon, so what you see on your monitor our print output can be different. The only way to guarantee that you are happy will be to order and pay a pre production sample or send us the required pantones.

Will the custom printed helmet logo last ?
Ohhhh yes !, The UV ink method we use to print the transfer the apply is superior to the standard ink method and can't be scratched off as easily, the print hardens over time when also exposed to UV rays. There really are no downsides, the prints stand up even better when helmets are thrown around in the van or boot of a car compared to standard ink.

How long does it take to custom print the hard hats ?

I want my helmets printed on the side or rear is this possible ?
Yes it is, we can personalise certain safety helmets to the sides with full colour logos, or to the rear with full colour prints too, but due to the complexity and vast range of safety helmets that have different print areas and helmet contours, it is best to call or email us with this request.

Sounds good what is the downside ?
Only 1, very small text less than 3mm can be problematic as the inks are thicker than previous, so we may get in touch if any of this applies to your designs, and offer the old method or slight design changes.
